Data deletion instructions

1. Overview

BRANDVERTISE AGENCY operates Brandvertise at brandvertise.net. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated personal and business data, including data related to Meta (Facebook / Instagram / Threads), Meta Marketing API / ads connections, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other connected platforms. Meta App Dashboard and similar reviews may link to this URL as our data-deletion instructions.

2. How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@brandvertise.net from the email address on your Brandvertise account, with subject line: Account deletion request.
  2. Include your account email and, if known, your brand name(s) inside Brandvertise.
  3. Optionally disconnect integrations first (Meta, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Pinterest) from in-app settings or publishing / marketing connect flows so third-party tokens are revoked immediately.

We aim to confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete deletion of personal account data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons (for example payment invoices issued by BRANDVERTISE AGENCY).

3. What we delete

  • Account profile identifiers tied to your login (subject to retention notes below).
  • Brand kits, uploaded assets, generated drafts, calendar plans, and Library creatives associated with your account.
  • OAuth tokens and connection metadata for Meta publishing, Meta ads / Marketing API (where connected), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other integrations we store for you.
  • Ads-related metadata we store in our systems for connected ad accounts (for example cached campaign lists or creative references), excluding ads and billing history that remain on Meta.
  • WhatsApp Cloud API credentials we store (access tokens, phone number / WABA identifiers), WhatsApp template records we created in our database, campaign/send logs we store, and contact lists you uploaded for WhatsApp Marketing (where stored on our systems).

4. Meta (Facebook / Instagram / Threads) data

If you authorized Brandvertise to access Facebook, Instagram, or Threads, deleting your Brandvertise account (or disconnecting Meta in-app) removes the tokens and related connection records we hold. Content already published to your Facebook Page, Instagram, or Threads account remains on Meta's platforms under your control; remove those posts directly in Meta's apps if needed.

You may also remove Brandvertise's access from Facebook Settings → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Instagram equivalent), which revokes our API access independently of account deletion.

5. Meta Marketing API / ads data

If you authorized ads / Marketing API access, deleting your Brandvertise account or disconnecting ads access removes tokens and ads-connection records we store. Campaigns, ads, audiences, and billing history that already exist in Meta Ads Manager remain on Meta under your Business / ad account; manage or delete those in Meta's tools.

6. WhatsApp Business data

If you connected WhatsApp Cloud API / a WhatsApp Business Account for WhatsApp Marketing, disconnecting or deleting your Brandvertise account removes tokens and WhatsApp connection metadata we store, and deletes our copies of templates, send logs, and contact lists associated with that brand (subject to short-term backup and legal retention).

Message templates that already exist inside Meta WhatsApp Manager, and messages already delivered to recipients on WhatsApp, are controlled by Meta / WhatsApp and the recipient. Manage or delete those assets in WhatsApp Manager or on the recipient's device as applicable. You remain responsible for any ongoing messaging from numbers and WABAs you own.

7. What we may retain

We may retain anonymized or aggregated analytics, security logs for a limited period, and billing records required for accounting and tax compliance under the name BRANDVERTISE AGENCY. Those records are not used for marketing and are kept only as long as legally necessary.
