Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Brandvertise (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted brand and marketing platform at brandvertise.net. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website and application.
2. Information we collect
- Account information (such as name, email) when you sign in.
- Brand and business content you provide (copy, images, website URLs, preferences).
- Usage and technical data (device, browser, logs) to operate and secure the service.
- Social publishing connections: when you connect accounts for scheduling, we receive tokens and profile metadata from our publishing partner to post on your behalf — not your social network password.
- Pinterest (Marketing Studio): if you choose to connect Pinterest, we use Pinterest's OAuth service. We do not ask for or store your Pinterest password. With your permission, we receive encrypted access and refresh tokens, and may retrieve pins, boards, and search results from your Pinterest account to display inspiration in Marketing Studio and to let you use a pin as a visual reference when generating creatives.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the product.
- Generate and schedule content according to your brand settings.
- Display Pinterest inspiration in Marketing Studio and generate on-brand creatives when you choose a pin as a reference.
- Authenticate you and prevent abuse.
- Communicate about your account or important service updates.
4. Sharing with service providers
We use trusted processors (for example cloud hosting, authentication, AI, social publishing APIs, and Pinterest's API when you connect Pinterest) under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing services to us. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share Pinterest data with third parties except as needed to operate the features you request or as required by law.
5. Retention and security
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal or operational purposes. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; no method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure.
6. Pinterest API
Brandvertise uses the official Pinterest API when you choose to connect your Pinterest account in Marketing Studio. Brandvertise is an independent service and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.
What we access. With your permission through Pinterest OAuth, we receive encrypted access and refresh tokens and may call the Pinterest API to search pins and boards and to read pin metadata (such as titles, image URLs, and links) so you can browse inspiration and optionally use a pin as a visual reference when generating on-brand creatives. We do not ask for or store your Pinterest password.
How we use Pinterest data. Pinterest API data is used only to provide the features you request inside Brandvertise (inspiration browsing and optional creative reference). Pin search results are fetched on demand and shown in your session; we do not build a separate public catalog of Pinterest content.
When you disconnect Pinterest. You can disconnect at any time from Marketing Studio. When you disconnect, we immediately delete your stored Pinterest OAuth tokens and revoke our ability to call the Pinterest API on your behalf. We do not retain Pinterest access or refresh tokens after disconnect. Any Pinterest pin results shown in your browser session are discarded and are not kept in our database. If you delete your Brandvertise account, we also delete any remaining Pinterest connection data associated with that account.
No resale or redistribution. We do not sell, resell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. We do not provide Pinterest data feeds, bulk exports, or API re-licensing to other services. We share Pinterest-derived data only with infrastructure providers that process it solely to operate Brandvertise for you, under contracts that limit use to providing our service, or when required by law.
7. Your choices
You may update brand settings in the app, disconnect publishing integrations, disconnect Pinterest from Marketing Studio, or request account deletion by contacting us. Where applicable law provides rights (access, correction, deletion), you may exercise them by contacting us.
